The gameboard is designed on a soft fabric & felt backing for easy take-it-with-you.  I've found it very helpful for the days I teach away from my regular studio.  We've packaged together playing pieces to make it useful for teaching 1) half, whole, whole+half, and no steps 2) intervals with or without quality 3) chord building (all 4 types), and 4) scale building (all 4 types).

The game package includes 4 dice (1 for Steps, 1 for Intervals, 1 for Chords, and 1 for Scales), 2 regular playing dice, 2 game pieces, and 8 pennies for placing the individual notes of the scales or chords

Following are the instructions for the Half & Whole Step game. (as an example)

STEP GAME:

1)     Roll the die with W, H, O, & W+H written on it. 

2)     Each player moves the distance indicated.

3)     First player to reach the end by rolling the exact distance needed wins.

ADVANCED play can be added by having each player name all the enharmonic names for the keys upon which they land.
